President Obama and Racism

Lets get some facts straight.  The Black population of the United States is approximately 20% of the total.  This means that if 90% of the Blacks voted for Obama, then there had to be approximately 40% of non-blacks that voted for Barack Obama to get him elected.  Now many non-blacks were willing to see what his Idealogy is and in many respects, were not happy with the Socialist tendencies and protested as is their right as an American Citizen.  Yet everytime someone disagrees with the President, someone in the Democratic Party starts screaming "Racism."  Bill Clinton did it, President Carter did it and many others. I have  to tell you, I am sick and tired of hearing this same old story over and over again.  Make no mistake about it, many of us Do Not Like the way President Obama is directing this country.  It has nothing to do with black or white, it has to do with Idealogy.

Now in this country and any other country, you will have groups that do not like another group for one reason or other.  Sometimes a Pole will not like an Italian or a German would not like a Jew or a Black may not like a White.  This is human nature.  President Bush was so hated by so many because of a media blitz that went on for years.  Did anyone say it was prejudice or reverse Racism?  I ask, why is it Ok to yell racism when its Obama, but not when it is Bush?  Either way it is a form of "Hatred" is it not?  Last week a young white boy was pummeled by two black boys on a bus in Missouri.  He was soundly beaten and it was recorded on video.  The boy did nothing but sit down next to one of the black boys.  It was on TV for one night and then died a slow death.  No outrage, no Al Sharpton, no Jesse Jackson, no Reverend Wright.  Why is it only blacks who get to show their outrage and why are the Al Sharpton's of the world allowed to continue to spew their Racism and race baiting?

Maybe, just maybe the racism is misdirected. Maybe its the blacks that are racist, like the boy beating.  Maybe Al Sharpton wants racism to continue so that he could stay in the limelight.  If you want equality, then be equal, don't continue to ask for special favors not available to all and don't continue to cry wolf and foment the fires of racism.  Is there racism in the US? Absolutely, but I would bet that it is equal between blacks and non-blacks. This is my opinion.

OBAMACARE?

I have always been sympathetic to those that cannot afford or are unable to get healthcare.  I believe there should be a way for them to get coverage.  In my opinion Obamacare is not the answer and is in fact a hugh disaster on many fronts to the American people.  And, like every other Obama Plan, he is trying to push it through without proper evaluation and trying to make it so important that it has to be done yesterday.

Let's discuss what is really happening.  The Democrats claim that there are 46 million people without healthcare.  What they don't tell you is that 12 million of those are Illegal Aliens that they want included in a Healtcare Plan.  There are another 15 million that are eligible for either Medicare or Medicaid, but do not apply for it for whatever reason they have.  So, why can't we give the rest, the same courtesy we give to Illegal Aliens who get coverage at the taxpayers expense?  Why would you want to change the best Healthcare System in the world and spend over $1 Trillion to do it, get rid of healthcare for over 250 million people who would be forced to go to government plans, put the government in charge of your health needs and create a bureacracy so big that it will be uncontrollable. Every worker in the country would be paying for it in higher taxes.  Approximately 39 states would end up with a tax rate approaching 50%.  I am sorry folks, but there simply has to be a better answer for the 15 million.  When has the government ever run anything efficiently or with your interests in mind.  Businesses would be crippled by the requirements put on them, jobs would be lost and a bad economy would just get worse.  The Budget Office has stated that there will be no savings and the costs will just continue to rise.  Socialism is simply not the answer.  It has worked nowhere.  When is the luster of the Obama Charisma going to wear off and have sensible Americans realizing that this is NOT, "The Change you could believe in."  This plan is another HUGH DISASTER FOR AMERICA.

CAP AND TRADE RE-VISITED

Well, here we are again.  They voted for Cap and Trade and won in the House by 7 votes.  This was accomplished by the Democrats stalking in the night like criminals.   They come up with amendments in the wee hours of the morning, do not give anyone time to read them, and then force a vote.  They Lie and Lie and Lie and many in this country buy it hook, line and sinker.

They are selling this as clean air legislation, an energy bill to conserve energy and global warming.  Let's be realistic and call it what it really is, THE BIGGEST TAX IN HISTORY.

I have stated before, that they will tax energy companies who in turn will pass the additional expense on to the consumers.  They talk about environment, global warming, but that is not what this is REALLY all about.  This is about a tax on ALL Americans to fund the Socialistic Programs that this Administration is "PUSHING" through as fast as they could before the American people realize what is going on.

Am I the only one here that sees the actions by the Democrats in the wee hours of the morning and the forced votes just before a weekend?  Even Administration supporters should be seeing through these sneaky tactics.  You have to ask yourself why?  Do you not care that the Administration lied when they said no new taxes and now are passing the largest tax increase in history?  All you people whose budget is strained like mine, aren't you just a little bit concerned?  From what I read, this tax increase could be as much as $3,000 per family.  Could you afford it, I can't?  I have already voiced my displeasure with my local Congresswoman and I would hope that many here will do the same.  This is disgraceful in my opinion.

AN ANALYSIS CONTINUED

·        Stop subsidizing Ethanol and use the corn to sell to countries that need it.  Instead of paying for corn, we could sell it.  It would also reduce our costs locally for corn.

·        Create a budget that takes care of government expenses first and if there is anything left over, then disseminate the excess instead of creating a budget and then trying to fund it.  Eliminate expenses for “Bridges to nowhere”, studying the sex habits of the fruit fly, studying everything from soup to nuts.  We should only be studying at government expense things that will improve the way of life for all Americans.   Put a payback provision in each budget to pay back Social Security for all the money taken over the years.  That would be more meaningful than a study of grapes.

·        Eliminate the tax on Social Security benefits for working Seniors.  They paid tax on their money when they earned it and shouldn’t pay again.  Just another way for Congress to get someone else’s money.  It would also stimulate the economy if the Seniors have more to spend.

·        Eliminate taxes on tips.  Waitresses and waiters work hard for their tips and should be allowed to keep them without the government taking a portion.  More money into the economy.

·        Reduce taxes on all Americans which would stimulate growth and raise the revenue into the government coffers.

·        Reduce the capital gains tax to stimulate investment into the economy.

·        Return value to our money by instituting a Gold and Silver standard instead of having money backed by nothing.

·        Stop giving carte blanche welfare, instead force recipients to work and subsidize their income to a living wage.  They can take the jobs that everyone claims are being done by Illegal Immigrants.  It would still be cheaper than just giving it away with nothing in return.  Recipients get used to it and have no self-respect and become wards of the state.

·        Have Congress become part of the Social Security System instead of their “Special” Retirement System.  They currently have no interest or concern for the Social Security retiree.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.  There is much more that can be done, but the bottom line is the budget must be developed in steps like a business.  When we went into a shipyard for an overhaul while in the Navy, we were given a budgeted amount of money.  Then we would decide what needed to be done according to the following priorities”

·        Necessary

·        Needed

·        Desirable

·        Nice to have

These are just  ideas of priorities which could be applied to a National Budget if all Departments would submit their priorities.  Of course you would only be able to submit a percentage under each priority otherwise everything would be priority 1.  Once submitted, they could eliminate those that would not make the budget cut.  Right now they put the budget together and then figure out how to fund it.  Let the States decide how to spend their money based on a distribution from the Federal Government based on population.

AN ANALYSIS OF THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION AND SOLUTIONS THAT WORK

Many of those who have read my articles have thought that I am too rough on the Current Administration and that I would be accepted more if I offered solutions to our problems.  I have used the word “Socialism” and many have criticized me for it.  My comments are about the United States of America.  It has nothing to do with black, white, oriental, American Indian, it has to do with our country, how it was founded, how it has succeeded for 200 years under a system envied by the world, and how there is a rush on to change it overnight to a system that as failed repeatedly over and over again.  This article may be lengthy, but I will try to explain everything as clearly as I can and give some solutions in the area of :  The Economy, Equal Rights under the Law, Health Care, Foreign Policy and the Judicial System.

Our country was founded as a Republic.  That has nothing to do with the Republican Party, although many of the beliefs are similar to Republicanism which has as its foundation Constitutional Law which limits the state’s power over its citizens.  Early proponents of Republicanism such as John Milton warned of the dangers of corruption and the importance of civic virtues.  A major influential “Founding Father” Thomas Jefferson was a promoter of Republicanism.  He favored states rights and a “strictly limited federal government.”  He was also the drafter of the “Declaration of Independence.”  He believed that Judges should be “Technical Specialists” and not set policy.  He as well as Andrew Jackson thought the Federal Reserve Bank was a hugh Monster that  would one day hurt the US economy. Many forget that we once had Silver and Gold backing our currency.  We no longer have that.  I can’t explain all about the money, it is too complex and it would be easier to view the video. Suffice it to say, that the Federal Reserve Bank has no one overseeing it.  Some of Abraham Lincoln’s sayings are very appropriate in light of the current Administration’s policies. Some follow:

·        You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

·        You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

·        You cannot lift the wage earner up by bringing the wage payer down.

·        You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

·        You cannot build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence.

·        You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they should and could do for themselves.

The whole idea behind our System of Government was that the people would decide through their representatives how the country should be run.  Government was to be limited to what the government needed to do and the states would decide how to run local government.  As many of you know, when government gets involved, chances are you will have corruption, mismanagement and inexperienced political appointees running things they know nothing about.  Also, our Constitution believes that every American Citizen should have “Equal Justice Under the Law.”  I believe that many of these founding principles are being violated over time culminating in this Administration’s rush to “Socialize” this country and gain yet more POWER.

The Economy – Our economy is in a turmoil.  Much of the crisis was perpetuated by the same party that is currently in power.  If the Republicans could be criticized, it could be for inaction during their control over the Congress.  Much of the current crisis started when Bill Clinton signed the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act which was enacted after the Crash of 1929 to keep banks and investment firms separate to reduce the risks to banks from speculation with depositors funds.  That was 1999.  The mortgage packaging and leveraging accelerated at that time. The Republicans did however try in 2005 to alert the country and the Congress over the pending Housing Debacle.  John McCain tried to introduce a bill that would bring FNMA and Freddie Mac under control.  His bill was defeated. President Bush also warned of the pending crisis.  All of the Democrats in Congress including Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and many many others all said there was no crisis.  I believe they wanted the crisis and I believe they had two years of control over the Congress to do something about it, but did not so that they could get what they have now, control over everything.  They, along with their media support have been able to convince the American people that it was all Bush’s fault.   Now the agenda is beginning to unfold.  First, the rush to push through a “Stimulus Bill” which if not enacted immediately, would result in a “Hugh Crisis” of unbelievable proportion.  Nobody read the pages of that bill which was  laden with “Pork Barrel, Earmarks and Paybacks” to political supporters.  It had very little to stimulate the economy.  It was supposed to keep unemployment below 8%.  They lied.  Now they say, oh, we were a little optimistic.  They knew, they lied.  Then they take over Banks by giving them bailout money.  This is a government interference in private enterprise.  They used another “Crisis” to sell this one.  Why would a sitting President have to be on National TV almost every day of the week?  He has charisma, he talks like the best of Reverends, he is “Cool” as I have heard one college student describe him and he has been coached and prepared for this for years.  All the characteristics of a “Con Artist”. Yet, he still cannot talk about anything without a Teleprompter or written speech.  Why?  Everything coming out of this administration is a Crisis, and we have to act right away.  Why?  What happened to the political process where bills go to committees?  Does this not exist anymore?  Why were Chrysler and General Motors taken over and why did the government interfere and fire the CEO’s?  Isn’t that a function of stockholders?  Why were Unions given more of these corporations than the Bondholders who Invested their money?  They are interjecting government into all aspects of our lives.  At the same time, they are taking the Bush budget which they criticized and increasing it fourfold, yet nobody criticizes that.  Where is the media outrage?  Where are the people who criticized Bush now?  Why is that?  And then there is Cap and Trade.  They promised “No tax Increases,” yet they want to cost each and every American approximately $1,500 per year in additional energy costs indirectly to taxes put on energy companies.  Another Administration LIE.  How about the oil prices.  They are going up as much under Obama as they did under Bush.  This could be easily fixed by limiting speculation by raising the Margin Requirements for oil speculators.  Speculators never take delivery of oil, rather they speculate by putting up only a small percentage of the actual cost.  If the requirements were raised, he would eliminate speculation.  Why hasn’t this administration done that?  And why isn’t he being criticized like Bush was for the same thing?  All of these steps which have been taken are Nationalization and steps toward Socialization.  That is the goal of this administration and if achieved results in POWER.  And POWER gives more control over our daily lives.

Non-Socialistic Solutions -  I have assembled many solutions, some my own, some taken from other ideas.  I will try to be brief but descriptive.

·        Close a large percentage of our overseas bases.  We pay foreign countries to house our soldiers, we pay for foreign workers to work on our bases, we buy food from foreign purveyors to feed our military.  Why?  To protect another country?  Let these countries provide their own bases and their own military and bring our troops home and our money with it.  Why should we borrow to pay for someone else’s National Defense?  Let all countries in NATO support it.

·        Stop giving money to organizations like HAMAS ($700 million)  ACORN and Third World countries while we are borrowing to do so.  Bring that money home where it is needed for Healthcare and other Social programs.

·        Stop paying subsidies to Farmers for NOT producing and use the added production to sell to Foreign countries who want to blackmail us with Oil.  Why should we import when we are the largest agriculture nation in the world.

·        Stop subsidizing Ethanol and use the corn to sell to

OBAMINATION

I have tried to keep quiet and let the chips fall where they may, but it is just getting more and more ridiculous as each day in this Administration passes on.  All of Europe has recognized that Leftist Socialist policies do not work and have elected new regimes with a Moderate to Right leaning, yet, we continue on this course of record spending and Socialist policies.

One poster commented on one of my previous articles how the word Socialism upsets people.  Well, let me tell you how it upsets me.  I have warned about Obama’s radical left leanings prior to the election in Letters to the Editor in my local newspapers.  Now his agenda is more clear and in my opinion is leading us into disaster.  Several months ago, the administration forced through a Stimulus Package that had to be done to avoid disaster.  The administration forced it through the Democratic controlled Congress despite the fact that virtually none of them read a single page.  A violation of the Constitution I believe in that bills are supposed to go through Committee first.  They promised no more than 8% unemployment, and we just hit 9.4%.  We have tripled our budget deficit over and above the Bush deficit.  They have taken over private enterprises and entrenched themselves in the private sector by firing employees and Boards of Directors, contrary to Contract Law.  The administration has interfered and entrenched themselves in the Banking community.  They are rewarding non-workers at the expense of workers.  They lie daily and continue to campaign for every program they are forcing down the throats of the American people.  All these private sector jobs will go to Democratic flunkees for their loyalty to the Obama administration.  Now they want to tax every American by as much as $1500 under the guise of Cap and Trade.  They have no problem with the world having Nuclear Power Plants, but we cannot do it here.  Why? Environmental Lobby?  Special Interest Group?  They also want to create a Healthcare System to mirror that of Canada and other countries, but have no idea how to pay for it.  They also want to tax anyone who has a Healthcare program through their employee.  In short, they want to decide everything for you.  Right now, in New York, if you pay 28% tax, plus 10% state tax, plus city and Sales Tax,  you are working half the time for the government.  They decide what to do with your money.  And contrary to all the Economists who have stated that mass spending is a mistake, they continue to do it and the resulting Inflation is right around the corner.  The opposite effect that they promised is about to happen.

How about all these promises of jobs created or saved.  There is no way of measuring this and they know it.  They paint you this rosy picture when they know it is a lie.  And the News Media goes right along with it, without questioning any of it.  Gasoline prices are rising again, and crippling working people, yet we continue to stop offshore drilling while foreign countries go ahead and drill off our shores.  California is looking for everyone to bail them out, but the Liberal environmentalists will not allow offshore drilling, give me a break.  And then there is Dissent.  When a Liberal dissents, it is patriotic, when anyone criticizes the Liberals or this administration, it is Racism, Sour Grapes or any other excuse they could come up with.

Make no mistake about it, this country achieved unprecedented prosperity for all Americans who were willing to work under the Capitalist System.  Now we want to change our whole way of life.  No longer a Christian Nation, called an Arrogant Nation by our own President.  Even Chavez has called Obama more to the Left than he is and he is a devout Leftist.  I believe President Obama is an Arrogant, smooth talking con artist (when he has a teleprompter of course), who is selling this nation a bill of goods for the purpose of Power.  It is starting to show in the polls which we know they watch daily.  And make no mistake about this, what happens now is on Obama.  He can’t continue to blame someone else, although I will bet that he will try.  That is his way.  Take credit when it is good and blame someone else when it is bad.  When is the rest of American going to wake up.  Obama is not going to prevent a disaster, HE IS THE DISASTER.

Cap and Trade and Global Warming

Cap and Trade is the next program which is being offered up by the Obama Administration.  I will try to explain to the best of my ability what this means to the average American Citizen.  I will preface my views with a letter from a Scientist named Bob Clark from Monroe, Washington and published in the American Legion monthly magazine.

"I am one of the 20,000 scientists and engineers across the United States who have signed a petition stating that carbon dioxide is not causing any climate change or global warming, and is not a causative greenhouse gas.  The only greenhouse gas in this planet's atmosphere is water vapor, and the only global warming pollution I'm aware of is the hot air coming from the idiots in Congress who want to codify this sort of junk-science into law.  The United States has plenty of energy resources to carry us through to 2200 without much trouble at all. And there is no reason to do anything with automobiles that would change the status quo."

The Obama Administration in conjunction with Al Gore and his expensive movie production on Global Warming have convinced many in the world that there is some kind of crisis. Remember Rham Emanuel's comments, "Never waste a good crisis."  Well Cap and Trade is nothing more than a hugh tax on the American Taxpayer.  That is ALL taxpayers.  What they want to do is put a License Tax on any company which has a Carbon Dioxide emission in their plants.  This would include almost every Energy company.  What will happen, is the tax which will eventually be passed on to the Users, will amount to approximately a $1500 increase per year in your gas and electric bills.  Any other products which are manufactured in a plant with these emissions will have to pass their tax on in the form of higher prices.  Some companies that cannot afford the tax will fold and jobs will be lost.  This all under the guise of creating more "Green Jobs."

Now all new cars have to get 42 MPH according to the Obama plan.  An already struggling auto industry will now have to produce cars which are lighter and less safe to accomplish this phony energy saving proposal. 

Most of the justification for global warming comes from computer models created with a less than reliable data base.  And remember, the results are only as good as the data entered.  So what I am saying is, if the data is not reliable, the results are also not reliable.  This is the data that Al Gore used to create his Global Warming Crisis.  There are over 20,000 scientists who say this data is faulty and should not be relied upon.  But, that would put an end to the Power struggle and the control over our every day lives.  It would also cause the likes of Al Gore and Nancy Pelosi to lose money on their global warming investments.

Lets be realistic.  In the last 50 years, we have seen a computer which used to take several floors of space in a building reduced to a desktop, we have seen a spaceship go to the Moon, we have seen genes identified which can eliminate diseases over time.  We have seen new health techniques which have prolonged life.  We have seen a disease like Polio practically annihilated.  We have seen computers the size of a credit card.  Are you going to tell me that in the next 20 years, we cannot develop a filter for gases?  Are you going to tell me that we cannot develop alternative sources of energy?  I could go on and on with what will probably happen in the next 50 years, but you just need some imagination to figure it our.

Why would we want to fool with Nature?  Power and Money.  It creates more government and gets the administration money to support all their Socialist Programs.  And who pays the freight, once again, the hard working American taxpayer.  You and me.  We are being fooled into thinking there is a crisis and many are falling for it.  We should be screaming our guts out to stop this Cap and Trade NOW. 

The latest on the Polar Ice Cap was that the sensors weren't working correctly when the last readings were taken.  Another scientist went up to measure the ice and could not, because it was too cold to sustain the crew.  There is actually a lowering of temperature contrary to what you hear every day.  Could 20,000 scientists and engineers be wrong?

Intelligence Gathering

Many have talked about Waterboarding and Torture and Security of our Nation and also Morality.  Can these things all work in unison?  I will try to explain how Intelligence is gathered and maybe some of you will take a different view of the world.

Lets say that you are a Havard Law School graduate with a 4.0 average and you are recruited by the CIA to be a Field Operative.  While you thought of a career in Law, the idea of being a "Spy" might be more exciting, besides you love your country and would like to do whatever you can to protect it and your family and friends.

You go through extensive training which includes many things such as learning many languages (I knew one operative who spoke 7 languages fluently), learning how to observe and interpret, how to use many weapons, how to recruit sources around the world, how to elicit information.  You finish your training over a long period of time and then perhaps you are given a field assignment with an experieced field agent.  What is your job?  To find out whatever you can to protect the United States.  You are given a cover position, maybe a business which allows you to travel to foreign countries.  You are paid reasonably well and you have a budget to recruit informants.  You use the informants to try and gather bits and pieces of information which will be reported back to an Analyst back in the US.  The Analyst although not a field operative sees information from many sources and assumptions can be made and facts can be crossed referenced to uncover a plot against America.

Now you are an experienced Field Agent and you find yourself on the streets of Baghdad, Tehran, Cairo or some other Mideast country.  You speak Arabic fluently and you have several paid informants who maybe makes $1 a day, and you offer $500 per month for information.  He tells you he heard about a plan to bomb the NYC subway.  You try to confirm from other sources or informants.  Some insurgent gets wind of your presence and tries to behead you.  You either capture him and interrogate him or you kill him to protect your cover.  You know if you are captured, you will be beheaded or tortured beyond imagination.  What would you do?

Believe it or not, this happens all over the world every day of the week.  The Israelis have one of the best Intelligence networks in the world because they are surrounded by Arab countries and they need to know to protect their country.  Do you think they are opposed to Waterboarding and do you think they would be discussing it in the News?  Ours is the only country in the world that would do this.  We talk about Morality.  Where is Morality in the rest of the world?  We are talking about self-preservation and National Security.  You cannot do this within the confines of Morality.  Most Americans would not harm someone viciously, but you have to understand the cruelty of the world.  People want to KILL YOU.  If you think I am overreacting, I just have to remind you of 911 and how long that was planned and the 3,000 American lives that were lost.  If you are a Field Agent and you know you can save 500,000 American lives by Waterboarding some captives or even killing one to scare the other, what would you do.  500,000 American lives by being immoral to two captives that want you DEAD.  What would you do?

Now finally, as one of these Field Agents risking his life evey day, you find out that your President is telling the world that if you use these techniques you are going to be prosecuted.  What do you do now?  Do you stop risking your life and leave the Security of the Country up to someone else?  Do you pay someone else to find out what you need to know?  Do you see why the CIA has a confidence problem?  They cannot afford to have this problem, it is too important.

Should ACORN be funded by the US Government?

The Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now  ACORN is an organization in which Barack Obama had a hand in developing.  One of its functions is to get people out to vote.  It is supposed to be bipartisan.  During the last Presidential Election, the Democratic Party gave ACORN $700,000 although the Obama campaign denied it at first.  Now they are being indicted in Nevada for falsifying voter registrations.  They almost exclusively worked for the election of Barack Obama.  They are being given Billions of dollars in the Stimulus Package.  Do you think they should be given Stimulus money by the government?  Do you think they are a vehicle to try to create a One Party System in our country? 

Freedom Of Speech on PNN

I have only been on PNN a short time.  I came here to voice my views mostly on Politics.  I am willing to discuss other peoples views because I think it is healthy for Americans of all walks of life to understand that there are different views on different aspects of our daily lives.  I try to do this with respect, but sometimes I may sound overbearing or as one poster said, I may have been more effective if I hadn't used words like: "You don't have a clue" or similar colloquial expressions.  Maybe she is right, but the abuse I have taken for expressing a dissenting view, is overwhelming.  One poster deletes all my posts because I disagree with her views.  Is that what this country is all about?  If you don't like it you eliminate it?  Is that what PNN is all about?

Some have said they vomited when they read my post, some have said Ughhh, no responses or explanations, just these vile comments with no respect whatsoever for my opinion.  I try to have an intelligent intellectual dialogue on subjects I feel are important to this country.  Noone is asking you to comment if you so choose.  Noone is forcing you to do anything.  But if you are going to post on a Subject, be fair enough to entertain all opinions, not only the ones that support your position.  That is what this country was founded on.  Different opinions, negotiation and hopefully something will emanate for the common good.  I believe that there are some here who are Elitists who think their opinion is the only one that counts or their views are the only views. Is this really what America and Americans stand for?

I admit that I am opinionated as we all should be.  Isn't that what makes the world go around.  When someone posts is it only for those that agree?  I expect that every article I write will have a dissenting view particularly from the Left or the Liberal mind.  I believe in the sanctity of the Constitution and I object to anyone who wants to change it.  I think the American people are being duped into believing better times are ahead by Socializing this country.  I strongly disagree.  This is why I post here, because I feel if I could awaken one person to not necessarily agree with me, but at least start to look at things from a different prospective or another point of view, then I have succeeded in my goal.  I didn't expect the kind of treatment you get in China and Russia and other Totalitarian States from posters on this blog.  Unfortunately, not every view is represented hear because the blogger has the "delete" option.  Call it what you may, but it is Censorship pure and simple.  I promise that I will never delete a dissenting view.  Good Luck to all here and I hope you learn as much as I do.

Totalitarianism?

The Wikipedia describes Totalitarian Rule "as a concept used to describe political systems whereby a state regulates nearly every aspect of public and private life.  Totalitarian regimes or movements maintain themselves in political power by means of an official all embracing idealogy and propoganda disseminated through the state-controlled mass media, a single party that controls the state, personality cults, control over the ecomomy, regulation and restriction of free discussion and criticism, the use of mass surveillance, and widespread use of terror tactics.  Examples of such regimes exist in Soviet Union, China, North Korea, National Socialist Germany and many South American countries.

The most successful form of Totalitarianism is Marxism although it has also come in the form of Nazism, Facism and other forms of government.

I believe that many of the doctrines for this form of government are prevalent in the current Obama Administration.  I believe through the use of ACORN, Barack Obama has created the "personality cult" aspect of the definition.  He has already funded this operation by giving them $4.7 billion as part of the Stimulus Bill.  The personality cult is furthered by many unwitting Left Wing college professors who on a daily basis insight students to protest opposition voices.  The control of the Mass Media is already in place, although I think they are unwitting accomplices and there is one exception and that is Fox News.  That is why they want to enforce the Fairness Doctrine, to try and stop the opposition press.  The Administration already has control over the Economy and has been using Fear Tactics to scare everyone into buying their agenda.  They want to create a single Political Party by embracing the cause of Illegal Immigration.  Does anyone think for one minute that their goal is not to get 12 million Democratic Voters?  Combined with the ACORN program, they could insure a Democratic Congress for years to come.

The Regulation of our daily lives comes in the form of Cap and Trade, Taxes, enviornmental controls on almost everything, and Nationalization of Industry.  The firing of the GM CEO is in effect Nationalization.  Also, Obama had stated in his campaign that he wanted to start a private police force to enforce National Security.  Sounds like a Gestapo to me.  In addition he has funded in his stimulus bill, monies, to set up Youth Camps with Uniforms and all.  Hitler Youth?  There is daily propoganda from the News Media and Barack Obama is in the News more than any President in history always to talk down opposition or promote his agenda.  He has Muslim Terrorists to create Fear and he is using that to his advantage as well.

Many who do not understand this doctrine should read up on Saul Aulinsky.  He defines tactics to literally get support and take over.  Look at all the Radical Relationships Mr. Obama has had over the years.  In my opinion, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, you be the judge.  Just my honest opinion.

Is Barack Obama trying to Destroy the United States?

President Barack Obama has accomplished in 100 days what many of our enemies have been trying to accomplish over the last 200 years.

Our Economy has sustained attacks on it from many sources as in the case when Japanese Investors were buying property in this country at an alarming pace owning at one point approximately 35% of the Commercial buildings in Houston, Texas.  We got through that.  Now Barack Obama and his administration is spending at such an alarming rate, that we will not be able to afford the Interest, let alone the Principle of the loans we are making.  We are borrowing money to give it away.  Then he talks about reducing $100 million in expenditures in his administration, while Chuck Schumer (D, NY) is submitting a bill for, you guessed it $100 million for local attorneys to investigate Real Estate fraud.  You strengthen an Economy by reducing expenses and increasing revenues, not the opposite.  Just like your household budget.  He is destroying our Economy in my opinion.

And then there is the Security of our Nation.  I was a Naval Officer and worked in Naval Intelligence.  We were sworn to secrecy because we simple did not want our enemies to know what we were doing and we did not want them to know how we found our certain pieces of information.  If you give up that information, you compromise your agents, your sources and you create weakness in your information gathering.  We deter attacks on our country by knowing about them before they happen.  Information gathering.  I was in Counterintelligence which means we tried to found out about subversives.  If you divulged this information that you knew, you were tried for Treason.  In short, you were a TRAITOR.  President Barack Obama has seen fit to divulge some of this information or dis-information, since he does not tell you the results of the information he divulged, but he has compromised the effectiveness of the CIA, FBI, NIS, CID and other Intelligence Agencies.  He has told our enemies Top Secret information.  He has weakened our Security.

And finally, he reduces our Armed Forces budget which substantially puts us in a position of not being able to adequately protect our country.  All this while are enemies are building up their military might and nuclear capabilities at a record pace.  North Korea, Iran, China, Russia, etc etc.

I am not trying to be an alarmist, but when you start putting all these things together along with the fact that Barack Obama has NEVER managed anything, you really have to wonder.  Supposing he is just doing these things out of Ideology or Ignorance, the result will still be the same.  We will be substantially weakened on all fronts and exposed to whoever wants to take a shot at us.  One item alone, you say poor judgement, but looking at all aspects, it is scary.

Tea Parties

I have been very upset over the coverage given the Tea Parties by the Mainstream News Media.  It has been downright rude and biased to the point of ridiculousness.  The one I find most offensive is the interview of Janine Garafolo by Keith Oberman.  During this interview, Garafolo called all attendees of the Tea Parties racists.  I resent that statement and believe she is a total idiot for even thinking such a thing.  She said that all the attendees were Rednecks and Racists.  What is it, everytime you disagree with this Administration, you have to be branded as a Racist?  Don Imus was forced off radio for comments he said which were intended to be funny.  Jamie Foxx does the same thing and not a word.  Why?   Where is Al Sharpton the hippocrite now?  There is definitely a double standard in this country.  It is sad what we have become.  The Tea Parties were a grassroots movement promoted by Fox News, but not really a Republican movement.  It was more Conservative than Republican.  People are fed up with taxes and it is going to get a lot worse.  Now they want to tax the air we exhale.  Yes the same air that feeds trees and plants and has been feeding them for millions of years is not deemed to be toxic.  What do we do now, pay to exhale or do we just stop breathing because the government has mandated it.  Little by little our freedoms are being taken away from us.  Our right to choose is diminished every day when we are being told what to eat, when to eat, how to dispose of it or we will tax you and we will tell you how to spend your money.  Every time a new tax is imposed, it takes away your right to choose how that money is to be spent.  Government of the People, By the People, For the People is gone. It has become Government for its Representatives, By the Representatives, for the Representatives, his friends, his family, and his contributors.  Where is Sarah Palin when you need her?

Enter Text Here I am an older gentleman who is just learning to blog.  I happen to believe that this country is heading for real trouble both Financially and in Security.  One only has to think of China which has almost 5 times as many people, owns most of our debt, and is building a Military as fast as it could while we are about to virtually stop all defense improvements including Missile Defense in favor of giving money to the likes of ACORN, which in my opinion is nothing more than a government funded organization to preach the will of President Obama and get votes by any means.  Also, we are giving $900 million  to Hamas.  This is money coming from the pockets of all Americans.  I ask you, would you borrow money to give to people characterized as Terrorists?  Would you borrow money to give to anybody?  Especially when there is no payback in sight.  How many other entities or third world countries are we "giving" money to that we "borrow."  How much are we spending each year on taking care of "Illegal Aliens"?  They want to know how to trim the budget, stop giving it away and spend it on the people who are paying for it.  Too many Americans don't really understand what is really going on.  This Earth is millions of years old and now we are told that in the next century we will ruin in by the Global Warming Farce.  What happened to "Mother Nature" taking care of herself?  Now we are being told that the Air we exhale is toxic to the environment and needs to be taxed.  The very thing that promotes the growth of plants and trees is being touted as lethal.  Give me a break.  Let me tell you all, that it is all about money, greed and an agenda based on falsehoods  I will continue my views in other posts.
